.e4 e5 { This is currently my only response I'm comfortable with against e4} 2.d3 f5 { I'm pretty sure this is actually a bad move. But I like it as it's similar to the Queens Gambit. It can probably be punished by a good player though.}
.Nf3 Nc6 { His knight is attacking my pawn on e4 so I defend while also developing my knight.}
.exf5 Nf6 { I used to do this to stop the pawn from pushing to f6. I realize now that it doesn't achieve anything other than developing my knight. I think d5 is a much stronger move here.(Originally wrote d6 here, this was a typo)}
.Bg5 d5 { I make d5 now. Still just as strong. The pin on my knight doesn't bother me for the moment.}
.Bxf6 Qxf6 { I thought that perhaps taking inwards with my pawn would be a better move. Decided to take with my queen to develop a piece and maybe castle queen-side.}
.c4 d4 { I'm still learning when to push pawns to lock the position. This is an example of a time I thought it would ab a good idea. I'm not sure if it was though.}
.Qa4 Bxf5 { Trying to develop my bishop. I attack e4 and d3. If I can get rid of his d3 pawn, his c4 pawn will be free.}
.h3 Bb4+ { I see this move, hoping he will mvoe his king, disabling him from castling.}
.Nbd2 O-O-O { I didn't see Nbd2. It doesn't achieve much right now. I deceide to castle Queen side. I figure he is more likely to castle King-side and I prefer games where black and white castle in opposite directions.}
.Nh4 e4 { I compltely miss the fact that he hangs his knight here and didn't realize until later when I was annotating my game.}
.g3 exd3 { Free pawn. Pawn on c4 is now undefended. Knight still pinned to king.}
.Bg2 Rhe8+ { Developing a piece with check.}
.Kf1 Re6 { Was worried about Bxc6. Putting my rook here defends this.}
.Nhf3 a6 { I though I may be able to attack the queen with my pawns but right after this move I decide It's a bad idea as I would put my king's safety at risk.}
.g4 Bg6 { I thought about Be4 and thought that it would probably be a better move at the time but I didn't want to take it because it seemed risky.}
.g5 Qf4 { I feel like this move was strong. It allows me to attack d2 with my bishop, winning me a piece if he doesn't move it. And if he does move it, my bishop will be attacking e1, I didn't see the e1 attack in game though..}
.a3 Bxd2 { He doesn't move his knight. So I take it. Free piece.}
.Rd1 Ba5 { I move my bishop away to safety.}
.Rxd3 Bxd3+ { White hangs their rook. I take it with check.}
.Kg1 Re1+ { This was a bad move. I thought I saw a forced mate but I was wrong.}
.Nxe1 Bxe1 { I knew I would be able to recapture with my bishop but I ended up losing material in that trade.}
.f3 Bd2 { After f3 I see a mate threat.}
.Qb3 Be3# { He doesn't defend it, winning me the game.} 0-1
